Meet Our Volunteer Coordinator, Lee Rothman, MA
Lee joined Skirball Hospice as the Volunteer Coordinator in 2008 and has expanded the program from 20 to 60 active volunteers. She oversees recruitment, training, support, and on-going education. She has forged alliances with area high schools, colleges, and universities so volunteers may have the opportunity for academic credit, internships or community service hours as part of their volunteer experience.
Lee has an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Temple University with specialized training in Family Systems and Life Span Development. She is also a certified yoga and meditation teacher. Prior to joining Skirball Hospice, Lee worked as a social worker at various hospitals in the Los Angeles area including Kaiser Permanente and Glendale Adventist Medical Center.
