Sandra Kaihatu, MBA – Executive Director
Sandra Kaihatu has spent her career in health care, specifically in the caring field of hospice. Sandra came to the Los Angeles Jewish Health in January 2023, after serving in increasing senior roles for a number of hospices in the Greater Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego Counties throughout Southern California. In her role as Executive Director of the Skirball Hospice program of Los Angeles Jewish Health, Sandra brings her many years of expertise and compassionate care to one of the leading providers of comprehensive senior care in Southern California.
She oversees an integrated care team of doctors, nurses, spiritual counselors, social workers, certified home health aides, volunteer coordinator and bereavement counselors, ensuring the comfort and care for our patients and their loved ones during this challenging time.
Additional day-to-day responsibilities include: ensuring compliance with legal and accreditation requirements; management of business operations; staff training, management and ensuring continuing education; and customer relations.
Sandra earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, Phoenix, Arizona.
